Client:James Terry Court
Sector:Care Home – James Terry Court, South Croydon.
Project:Phased construction of two new wings and a central core building together with underpinning and structural work, refurbishment, external works and drainage.
Scope:

Appointed as sub-contractor, Euro-City carried out a phased approach starting with reinforced concrete substructure and two floors of reinforced concrete superstructure to the new East wing of this home for the elderly – all work was phased allowing residents to stay in other wings. Subsequent phases saw Euro-City complete drainage and external works and underpin large sections of the main building as well as adding a new reinforced concrete link bridge to the core central building. In the final phase we carried out drainage, service networks and external works and paving. The complex project was multi-phase, multi-disciplinary works in allotted time slots and in line with restrictions imposed by working on a live care home site.
